Well, we are not off to a good start. Brand new out of the box WILL not start. Gas mix is right. Primed pump per instructions. Have tried dozens of times with many pulls. Checked spark plug.
I had previously e-mailed Speedway, because when I got the Snowblower it said only 2 year warranty. The guy on the phone said over and over it was 3 years. The Toro had 5 year start guarantee and 2 years he said. I wanted the Toro, but they were out, so he pushed me toward the Lawnboy. I asked him if he was sure it was 3 year, and he said yes. The Speedway web-site and even Lawnboys own web-site said 2 years.
Doesn't matter now. Brand new out of the box, won't start. Since I am over 120 miles away and bought from them over the net, I am now screwed.
They have never responded to my e-mail. We have a 9 inch storm coming tonight, 4 inches have fallen, and my brand new snowblower won't start.
Back to the shovel. I'm supposed to leave town tomorrow early and was hoping my snowblower would be working. It's not.
Back to the shovel. If I was closer I'd have dropped this thing in the store and asked for my money back.
By the time, I can get to them it will be Monday, and I will be out of town. If I get out of my driveway. It's saturday nite 12/15.
This was supposed to be IDENTICAL to the Toro. You know, 2 pull starts ! Not ! Not even 22 pull starts. even let it set in case it was flooded. No such luck.
back to the shovel.
By another brand and buy elsewhere. I'm sure you can find a better company and better product. Keep searching.
