PURCHASE: I purchased this machine from Speedway on 8/23/07 and it arrived at my door on 8/28/07.
UNPACKING: It arrived in a crate with instructions for unpacking. Tools needed for unpacking were a razor knife and a (power) screwdriver. I was able to unpack and roll the mower off of the crate by myself.
SETUP: Setup was simple, connect the battery, remove some protective items, check the fluids, add gas and it was ready to go.
OPERATION: I played with it for around an hour. The seat was comfortable, much easier on my back the my last riding mower. I had difficulty with the trimming. The steering is very sensitive and it will require more experience to operate efficiently. If you do not have experience with a Zero turn mower do not expect to jump on it and zip around your yard. You may end up shaving your neighbor?s dog or knocking down his fence. On the flat areas it performed well. Quality of cut was good with more than enough power to spare.
Overall I like it. I would have rated it higher except for the sensitive steering. I would write more but my neighbor just pulled up so I guess I need to talk to him.
