Easy - The AMP Rider electric mower is easier than driving a car. Unplug the charger, turn the key to "on", and you're off. When you're finished, plug the AMP Rider electric mower back into the charger and forget it. The electric mower charger fully charges the batteries in 16 hours and then hibernates when no charge is required. For the off-season, simply leave the electric mower plugged into the charger. The charger ensures the batteries remain fully charged, extending the life of the batteries.
Powerful - The AMP Rider electric mower delivers as much drive and cutting power as a conventional rear engine rider mower. The AMP Rider's cutting time averages up to 75 minutes.

	Cutting Deck - AMP Rider Electric Mower features a 34" wide twin-blade cutting deck. The electric mower fits easily through smaller spaces versus larger tractors and mowers. Also, the electric mower features Marbain steel cutting blades which are specially hardened to extend optimum cutting sharpness. The deck on the electric mower features more precise quarter-inch height adjustments from 1.5" to 4.5".			Batteries - The AMP Rider electric mower has five 48-volt battery packs, comprised of four 12-volt VRLA (valve regulated lead-acid) AGM (absorption glass mat) batteries. The AGM design was originally developed for military aircraft where power, light weight, safety and reliability were critical. The AGM battery design on the electric mower eliminates sloshing and potential spillage from tipping.
	Brushless Electric Motors - The AMP Rider electric mower has three motors: one 4.0 hp traction motor and two 1.7 hp spindle motors. Combined, these three motors deliver the same drive and cutting power as a conventional rear engine rider gas mower.			Padded Seat - The AMP Rider electric mower features a mid-back, padded seat which is adjustable 2-1/2" front to back. The seat also features a safety blade-cutoff sensor that shuts off the cutting blades when the driver rises off the seat.
	Operating Controls - The AMP Rider electric mower controls feature a battery level indicator that gives the operator an early warning by FLASHING approximately 10 minutes before battery is totally discharged.			Steering System - The AMP Rider electric mower features a conventional steering wheel design to make electric mower easy to operate. Ariens' precision rack and pinion steering makes steering the electric mower easy and smooth.
	Hydrostatic Transmission - The AMP Rider electric mower traction motor delivers constant torque for more efficient power. Hydrostatic transmission eliminates shift and clutch - the electric mower's foot pedal controls it all for smooth and controlled acceleration.
