Any single item weighing over 150 lbs, must be shipped via Motor Freight, instead of UPS/FedEx Ground. These heavy items aer shipped via semi-trucks, which are designed to unload products at loading docks and frieght terminals.

If you have a loading dock, forklift (to lift the pallet off the truck), or 2-4 able bodied people present to unload the item off the semi-truck, then you DO NOT need Liftgate service.

When Liftgate Service is selected, once the item reaches the trucking terminal in your location, it is loaded onto a special truck equipped with a hydraulic lift, to safely lower the product from the truck to the ground.
