I. Shipping Methods / Destinations
Speedway Sales ships with FedEx, UPS, and various freight carriers to deliver throughout the United States and to select countries world-wide. For items under 150 pounds in weight, UPS and FedEx are utilized in most situations.
Items over 150 pounds in weight are shipped via a freight carrier. Please note that the freight carriers charge a $50.00 residential delivery fee, which covers the cost of setting up the delivery appointment and the use of smaller delivery trucks when available to navigate safely through residential neighborhoods. There is no additional charge for freight deliveries to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift.
II. Shipping Damage
Orders are not to be refused due to the appearance and condition of the box. Sign for the package “Damaged Pending Inspection”. Any damage must be reported to Speedway Sales within 7 days of delivery. Any damage reported after the 7 days will be honored at Speedway Sales discretion. The original packaging is required for any damage claim. No claims can be filed without the original packaging. Claims initiated by the recipient through the shipping carrier may not be honored by Speedway Sales for repair, replacement, or refund. A damaged shipment in which a claim was initiated by the recipient which is denied by the shipping carrier will be refunded less a 10% restocking fee or the shipment will be shipped back to the recipient in as received condition at the recipient’s expense. Shipments that are refused by the recipient and are found by Speedway Sales upon inspection to have no damage will be refunded less a 10% restocking fee and outbound and inbound shipping charges.
Damaged shipments returned to Speedway Sales will be repaired, replaced, or refunded based on the degree of damage or availability of a replacement unit at Speedway Sales discretion.
International shipments are insured for a maximum liability coverage of US$100. Missing parts or manuals will not be shipped. A monetary credit not to exceed US$100 to cover replacement parts may be issued at Speedway Sales discretion. All damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery and require photographic evidence of said damage. Missing and damaged parts valuation will be based on the respective manufactures suggested US list prices.
III. Missing Parts / Manuals
Shipments that are missing parts or manuals must be reported to Speedway Sales within 7 days from the date of delivery. Missing product manuals / documentation will be reprinted and mailed via USPS or electronically mailed (if available) based on the customer's preference. At the discretion of Speedway Sales, missing parts will be shipped (based on availability) or a monetary credit (based on manufacturers suggested list prices) issued for the recipient to obtain the missing parts from their local dealer.
For international shipments found to be missing parts or manuals replacements will not be shipped. A monetary credit not to exceed US$100 to cover replacement parts may be issued at Speedway Sales discretion. Returns / Exchanges / Cancellations
Refunds will be issued, less a 15% restocking fee, for all returned items in original un-used and un-damaged condition, in the manufacturers original packaging along with all original documents and accessories. Items determined to have been used are subject to an additional 5% restocking fee. Outbound and inbound shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount. Returns must be completed within 14 days from date of original purchase. All returns require prior approval and RMA number. Refunds are issued within 5 business days after receipt of all items. All parts sales are non returnable.
There is no restocking fee on exchanged items in original condition, with all associated parts, packaging and manuals. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping charges. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. An RMA number is required for all returns and exchanges and must be obtained over the phone.
III. Cancellations / Changes
Orders can only be canceled or changed prior to shipping. If the order has been shipped the return/exchange merchandise procedures apply. All cancellations/changes MUST BE DONE OVER THE PHONE. Email cancellations will not be accepted.
